Overview

We are seeking a Personal Care Director to join our team. The Director – Personal Care is responsible for the administration and oversight of the branch’s day-to-day personal care operations. These responsibilities include meeting operational goals, ensuring that the quality of services delivered meets Company standards, completing assigned projects, promoting Company objectives within the branch and larger community, fostering an engaged workforce, and ensuring compliance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

  • Lead branch’s personal care operations to deliver exceptional care to all patients.
  • Ensure that patients receive personal care services based on needs and what matters most to the patient.
  • Proactively identify and execute opportunities for growth to expand personal care services within the local community.
  • Proactively engage with the community through networking, collaboration, and partnership with community-based organizations.
  • Meet operational goals, including financial, administration, and staffing objectives. Review and act upon operations reports and key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are being satisfied, including growth and patient care objectives.
  • Create an environment where employees want to work with high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Provide development opportunities to employees.
  • Responsible for hiring, evaluating, and managing assigned staff.
  • Collaborates with other service lines based on patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable law and Company policy, including ensuring compliance with all licensures, credentialing, certification, employee/patient records, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between staff, patients, the healthcare community, referral sources, and the home office to ensure information is shared appropriately among the team.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare leadership experience preferred.
  • Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to dependable transportation required.
  • Acts with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Collaborative and contributes to a positive work culture.
